Dense content. Needs a re-read to parse all the philosophy. Some parts really resonated with me while others felt naive and misguided. Worth a read regardless.

The Prophet is one of the most translated books in history and I can see why. What drew me into the audiobook was that it was read by Riz Ahmed. I love his voice and I wasn't disappointed. He had such a good cadence and was so engaging.

I should have realised this would be very religion heavy and this is why I rate it as a 3.5. Anything religion heavy causes my brain to zone out.

So whilst this isn't a book for me, I can see why it is so widely read and loved. It is religious based learnings masquerading as life advice (or vice versa depending on your viewpoint).
