A GIFT FOR A FAE WARRIOR was an intriguing start to the COURTS OF FAERY series and it provided a good introduction to the world and a few of the characters. For romance readers, nothing romantic really happens between Galen and Sylvie. It's told completely from Galen's POV so we know he has feelings for his best friend and partner, Sylvie, but he doesn't feel like he deserves her. They have a brief moment right at the end where it seems like Sylvie might have feelings back for Galen but the moment passes. I'm looking forward to reading more in the series and hopefully getting more about Galen and Sylvie.

Note: the Kindle version ends at 55% and the rest is a preview of book 1
