I could see the kid appeal. What kid doesn’t want to save the world, use cool tech, and outsmart the adults? There was also some good messages about violence, humanity, and why history is important. Nothing like robots fighting the 2nd battle of Gettysburg. For an action packed kids book, this wasn’t bad.
