This was actually an amazing manga! I can't believe that it took me so long to get to it. I think one of the teens I work with at the library actually introduced me to the book. I've become so addicted to Nana and Food Wars that I haven't really branched out in reading other manga so this one was a pleasant surprise. This well-known demon lord ends up in our world working at a knock-off McDonalds. He's determined to conquer the human world, but he ends of making friends and meeting his arch-nemesis. It was hilarious, heart-felt, and well-written with fantastic artwork. I loved being absorbed in the story and I definitely plan on reading the next couple of volumes in the series before I decided whether I want to start collecting them or not. If you haven't gotten the chance to read these yet please give them a try! : )
Enjoyable as expected. Every time Maou starts talking about his plan of worldwide domination, I get the giggles.
I got this for Christmas last year. I'd read it before, but wanted a physical copy. I'm probably going to switch over to the light novels for now since I've read more of them (13 of 21), and then catch back up with the manga. These books are great - they have humor, fantasy, mortal enemies , and a dash of romance. All my favorite things! 4.5 stars. Nice art.

Finally accepted that they will never animate a second series of my favourite anime so decided to read the manga instead. Ah I love it!!!

I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this. Such a fun concept to have the devil & his angel hero foe cast into a world as mere humans who have lost their powers but not their hate for one another. Even better, they have to work mediocre jobs to make ends meet while figuring out how to proceed. I have a 16yr old niece whom I know is going to devour this.
