I don't care about Adam. He doesn't love Juliette as much as he thinks he does. Who I care about though... it's Kenji! My poor baby, he was the one to hold them all together and pulled them through the shit show they were in. He also felt responsible for Juliette's "death". They all need to appreciate him more.
It was okay. That is all I have to say about this book.
Most of the book is just a copy-pasted content of what we have actually read in the previous book (hence the low rating), only from Adam´s point of view, and we do not learn ANYTHING new about him at all.
This book lacks emotional depth. I really hoped I would get to know him better - his thoughts on Warner being his brother, his entire background and childhood, how his mother died - anything.
I still do not know if I like Adam or not.. I mean - he is a soldier and has been one for a very long time. He has seen things many people would not be able to handle and when he finally meets someone from his childhood and they end up liking him back, I can understand his frustration from the breakup and separation.
There is a thing I really liked. He would choose James over Juliette and that´s when he earned my respect. I would be sooo pissed if he was only talking about her. I was pleasantly surprised that he worried about James almost the whole book and barely mentioned Juliette. I liked the part where he started doubting their relationship.
The only thing I don´t understand is: why is Fracture Me promoted as a book where Adam saves Juliette? "Adam, Juliette´s first love, will do anything to get her back." It did not look like he went crazy about saving her (which is okay bcs he went crazy about James and I appreciated that more).
For some reason I want him to be the one who chooses to walk away first (I don´t count Juliette insisting on breaking up, she didn´t truly want it).
Summary: I want my money back.

Adam eres un hdp. Segun este señoro está tope enamorado de Juliette, pero luego cuando el enemigo se la lleva (y le pega un tiro en el pecho) él dice que prefiere irse a su casa. ¿¿¿¿¿????? A ver, yo entiendo y apoyo la decisión de ir a buscar a su hermano cuando piensa que van a bombardear el refugio, obviamente escogió a su hermano antes que a su ex-novia (pq encima es que ella ha cortado con él) y en verdad me alegro que ante la duda se vaya a salvar a su hermano de diez años. Pero luego no me vengas diciendo que la quieres con toda el alma y que sacrificarías todo por ella cuando acabas de demostrar que te la pela lo que le pase.
En fin, que me empezé a releer la saga para ver si canviaba de opinión sobre Warner y sobre Adam y está funcionando. Me he dado cuenta de que la "relación" entre Adam y Juliette no es una relación, sinó que es una dependencia emocional de cojones por ambas partes, para ella, él representa la única persona a la que puede tocar sin matar (excepto Warner, pero ella eso no lo sabía al inicio del primer libro) por lo que la señora ha entrado en una especie de luna de miel mental donde todos sus problemas con sus poderes se han acabado y ha encontrado la única persona del mundo con la que puede mantener contacto físico, además de que en el cole cuando eran pequeños él era la única persona que no le tiraba piedras a la cara. Entiendo que piense que está enamorada de él pero literalmente pienso que no está realmente enamorada. Luego, para él, ella es la personificación de su necesidad de ayudar a todo el mundo y cuidarlos como si fueran sus hijos (como él mismo ha dicho en este libro cuando dice que siente que su hermano James es mas su hijo que su hermano) y tiene todo el sentido del mundo que tenga ese rol con la mayor parte de la gente que conoce, incluso desde la infancia pq 1. su madre murió muy pronto y 2. su padre es un cabronazo abusivo y borracho a quien no le importaban sus hijos para nada y a los cuales abandonó en cuanto su madre murió. Entonces creo que esos dos (Adam y Juliette) no se quieren como pareja sinó que para él ella es un proyecto de reforma y caridad y para ella él es la única excepción a su poder (con el cual puede matar y torturar personas a su gusto) por lo que se siente protegida y inofensiva por primera vez en su vida.
Nunca habia hecho una reseña tan larga pero es que necesitaba decirle a alguien más que a mi miasma pq creo que esos dos no deberían estar juntos. Cuando me acabe Ignite Me creo que intentaré analizar psicologicamente a Warner pq yo no entiendo a ese chico.
