Idk dude…
I really don’t like Adam

☆☆☆ 3/5 ☆☆☆

To talk about the novella itself:
This novella wasn't that bad, and I did enjoy reading it, but definitely not as much as the first one. It was slow, a retelling of everything I knew before, and in the end left no real lasting impression on me other than up my dislike for Adam.

To talk about Adam as a character:
While the first novella made me genuinely enjoy Warner's character, this novella made me despise Adam even more from beginning to end. I understand his actions, even think they're justified at some points, but what he says and what he does for Julliete are absolutely abhorrent and disrespectful to the girl he claims to love

tell me why Kenji was the ONLY one standing on business???

(Adam, respectfully, I do not really like u)

I have to say, Tahereh Mafi is certainly unafraid to set her readers spinning, wondering what in the world is going on!

I loved this look from Adam's perspective. It is honest and straightforward, just like he is. Adam and Juliette have a very complicated relationship, and this particular story really exemplifies that. Here's to a love triangle that is finally done right, with all parties involved having to show both their good and bad sides.

And I have this sneaking suspicion that someone is going to have to die to resolve it. Hmmm . . .

Thank you Adam for showing me that somehow your mind is a worst place to be than Warner's.
And now it's apparent to what is happening to each group as they were separated. 💀

This is a Novella between book 2 and 3. The story of the POV from Adam and then Juliette's diary. It didn't make me feel like I know the characters any better than before. I could have skipped reading this book.
