Bit of a mixed bag, some of them I liked and others not so much.

An entertaining mix of stories which did indeed make me smile! I particularly enjoyed the stories from Jenny Éclair, Veronica Henry, Katie Fforde and Richard Madeley. I won't give anything away but the author's note at the end of Richard Madeley's story was a big surprise and very intriguing!

I'm sure it's me, but the book didn't engage me at all.

I picked this one io because I truly needed some stories that would make me smile, and because I quite enjoy Jenny Eclair. Some of the stories were fun and smile-inducing, while a few just didn’t resonate with me. It’s been a while since I’ve read a short story collection, so I’m glad I picked it up!

An ideal audiobook for background noise whilst driving and read by British actors with fantastic voices. The stories were for the most part nothing special but entertaining.

These stories didn't really make me smile. Positive was that they only took about 5-10 minutes each to read. Some better than others, and some authors I thought would be good were very disappointing. Though they did a good job of telling a story in a few pages.

This really did make me smile. Its very lighthearted and fun. Each story is very short and sweet. I enjoyed this thoroughly and it brightened up my day. 5*
