I hate the main character and her whole "I'm not like other girls" misogyny to the core, but this series is way too nostalgic to give it a lower rating

I used to love the dork diaries series but I read this and realised how much Nikki whines. I guess that's normal for a high school teenager but this book was full of whining or screaming and nothing else.
