I was selected to read this as an ARC reader and I was so so happy I was given the opportunity. Gray and Aubrey will stick with me forever. This is a coming of age YA drama romance read. This was so well done. I would easily suggest this book to anyone with high schoolers or kids struggling with bullying, grief, or feelings of inadequacies. Every single person can learn something from this book. not only did the main characters teach me something, but the parents in the book showed me how children see EVERYTHING! It was a lifetime read and I will be reading it again in the future. Thank you Christopher and congrats on an incredible debut.

I want to thank Christopher for bringing me onto the ARC team and giving me the opportunity to read this!!! It was beyond amazing! I devoured this beautifully written book! The way it goes over/thru real life problems that the media doesn’t want to go over was absolutely fantastic! Following Gray and Aubrey on their journey was absolutely thrilling and I enjoyed every part of it!! I will hold this story with me forever and I will always want to know what happens next with Aubrey and Grayson!! #teamaubrey

I firstly want to thank Chris for giving me this eARC in exchange for a honest review.
This was a fantastic story, I believe it really helped portray grief and depression very well. You empathise with Grayson so easily and you follow the story just to see it all work out for him. You want him to be happy, you want him to figure it out, but you understand his reasons.
Aubrey was definitely my favourite and I really admired her and left me thinking we gotta be our own Aubrey! We all often get stuck in our little "bubble" when we have our difficulties. And I really admired how her character gave Grayson something to live for.
It was nice to see that she had supporting him for so long too that but really got me feeling! She was more than how people saw her, Gray saw the real Aubrey and I really loved their relationship.
I loved the mystery of who was the one texting Gray? And when we found out who it was I did have a suspicion but I was still shocked! Really caught me off guard in the end.
This was such a well wrote story, and I definitely consider it probably one of the best books I've read in quite some time. Chris is a talented author and I look forward to seeing more of his work soon!

First off I just want to say I am SO grateful for getting to ARC read this debut novel!
I felt so attached to these characters almost right away. The hope and tension I felt following Gray on his one night journey with Aubrey was unexplainable. Being called out and shown to find reasons to live, to start life, not end it. Even on bad days. This story gives me hope for so many people. It did leave me hoping for another book to follow gray again finishing the list he and Aubrey started together.
In addition I also want to add with all the things being thrown his way, including the surprise twist of who his anonymous threat was... he was able to come around and realize so much. I recommend to EVERYONE!
