Easy and quick read, even though there's a lot of sadness and grief throughout the book. It never sunk its hooks into my soul, but it was a good slow burn read.

I think I enjoyed this book. It was very heavy on grief which made it difficult for me to read. But that's not to say I didn't enjoy that aspect. It made it very realistic. Some of the novel was weak, but the friendships were great and I enjoyed the cake shop aspect.

I loved this book. The narration was brilliant and the sex scenes were great and realistic, quite graphic.
I literally spit out my coffee at a few wonderfully choice lines that made me laugh out loud.
Great sapphic chicklit!
Humans that are real and flawed and a brilliant second chance romance to boot.

I really liked this story but I had to rate it lower because I didn't feel like
Maddie did enough to win back Justine and found it a bit strange how easily they just fell back together.

Didn't give it much of a chance but was reading as too "friends"-y.
That & I'm not in the mood to hear more "imposter-syndrome" whining.
