A very good book i wont lie the start and the end- i skimmed through it cause it was a lot of financial investigating which counted for around 200 pages but research is superb and the mystery and how it unveils is dont very well. Definitely A LOT of tws so if your sensitive to stuff like that dont read

Always a good read, even all these years later. No one compares to Lisabeth.

Am I the only person that truly hates this book. I was bored to death and think Lisbeth Salander is one of the worst characters I have ever had the misfortune to try an read.

Overall, it is a entertaining read. I loved the twist, Lisbeth Salander as a character, the main plot line, and it’s overall themes. However, the book is for sure not perfect. It took about 300 pages to pick up speed. Also, the secondary storyline was just not necessary. After the climax of the book, the secondary plot becomes the main focus. But it’s so uninteresting compared to the main one, and also does not make sense thematically. If I could give it a 3.5 rating, I would.

The first half was incredibly slow. It took forever to build up to the actual storyline. I am also still trying to figure out why it was necessary to use such graphic detail to describe a violent sexual assault to one of the main characters.
