I don't dislike this series, but it's just sort of there. I mean I like some of the background, but the entire thing feels very rushed. There's no real connection to some of the characters so when some of them die, I just kept thinking who cares. I guess I just didn't get that into it. I like the story and the background, I just didn't like the characters and I felt like there could have been more there.

Kind of a fun, guilty pleasure pleasure book....I like Jeanine Frost's writing style...but I don't really like either Cat or Bones...I wish there were less of this series and more of Vlad but since there aren't, I will probably read these every now and again when the mood strikes.

I had forgotten how much I loved Bones and Cat. Their relationship is golden. Due to their long period of absence ( 5 years) they are much more open and willing to comprise for fear of said absence. I love it. Their sex is quite steamy as well hehehehhe

Mainly though I am just happy that while Bones is uber nice to Cat and smexy and all that, he is also really a vampire and he doesn't relinquish it. As well as with Cat- even though she loves Bones completely, she still remains a vampire hunter! In addition: how beautiful is it to see a heroine not want to change her male partner? This is not a case of good girl changing a bad guy into good. No this is bad girl remains a bad girl with her honey bad boy. I love it.

The plot itself is fabulous. Tate is way getting on my nerves, but i supposed that is his job soo. i just hope he will stop being a buthole before long. Anette is growing on me. She is fiercefully loyal to Bones to the point that i actually like her.

I had read Halfway to the Grave and its sequel a long time ago and then for some unknown horrible reason i stopped reading this series. However recently i read Once Burned which replaced me into Frost's world. I loved seeing the connection between the two series of Night Prince and Night Huntress. Seeing Vlad in A Grave's End made this book richer and stronger for it. *Vlad is another favorite of minee*

Anways. Enough with the dithering. I loved A Grave's End . Mucho enjoyablee. I would have given it a maybe 5 stars but I have already given those away to another series and have none left.

ON TO THE NEXT!
