Detta är verkligen inte ett litterärt mästerverk men det är en mycket tillfredsställande fortsättning på sagan om Isfolket. Sandemo lyckas som vanligt hitta på nya spännande livsöden åt släktets alla medlemmar och jag ser fram emot att läsa nästa bok!

This was fully like 2 different books in 1, and I liked the second half much more even though I hated the main romance. This series is just so completely bonkers that I can't help but love the books even when I don't like relationships or characters in them. Very much VC Andrews levels of unhinged (without the incest).
So, I’ve read this book before and there’s a couple of things that low-key breaks my heart and upsets me, that I remembered from last time. I did however not remember that my favorite character dies. How does one forget such an event? I am honestly in shock over myself.
The reason to why I gave this book 5 stars, as opposed to the 4 stars I have given every other book so far, is exactly the fact that it tugs so much on my heartstrings. While previous deaths have been sad as well, they have been more expected, or I simply remembered what was going to happen. There's just something about the more sudden and surprising deaths of one's favorite characters.
The events before this character death were also very interesting, and I really enjoy reading about Kaleb and Mattias, and their story. The romance in the second part of this novel is also really sweet, though extremely predictable.
