This book was really just amazing. Obviously since it's Cassandra Clara it's amazing writing that captivates all your attention until you want to read nothing else. This book was one of the best I have ever read. Clare's writing has developed to be even better, though it was still amazing before. She is just so good at writing all aspects to perfectly come together it's just MAGNIFICENT.

-tough with Emma and Jules god it was torture for them to be so conflicted
-Jules being a solid rock to lay on always
-Mark being awesome and hilarious
-the relationship between Livvy, Ty, and kit
-Kieran is complex but I like him and forgive him too
-Interesting dynamic between Mark, Christina, and Kieran
-really nice development for some characters like Kit and Kieran
-Diego and Christina was just not gonna happen sorry dude
-FUCKING ZARA DEARBORN AND HER VIEWS
-Old characters popping in hallelujah
-Annabelle and I really like how she ended up being and she was a reasonable complex character
-did not expect things to end with Malcom like that
-WHOOOOOO DIANAAAAA YOU GOOOOO
-Love the courting with Gwen
-haha stupid Erec can't say I'm sorry
-oh so that's who the Lord of shadows is and damnit what is he doing
-the Seelie Queen and that being another situation

-Aurthor coming to his senses

-Julian and Emma FINALLY
-Christina being a goddess and not forcing Mark and totally being buds with Kieran and confusing him
-Emma and Julian KILLING one of the unkillable creatures
-Ty being super smart and figuring out how to get a note to Annabelle
-Zara and her lackeys being horrible and in pure denial

That ending was not what I was expecting and now my heart hurts; the ending literally made me cry. I'm excited to read the last book but also nervous because I don't think I can handle that kind of emotion again.
