A brilliant and beautiful read. Of course, I preferred the detail of the original, but for its purpose the Young Readers version is very appropriate.

It took me a long time to read this very engaging book because it has been a challenging time for me. I loved this beautiful work of nonfiction adapted for young adults about indigenous wisdom, plants and trees, and the 7th Fire. Highly recommended.
