Look at this cover and tell me you wouldn't immediately be impressed with how legit this series is? Every story was unique and most of the artwork was fantastic. It was slightly jarring how it transitioned in this compilation to immediately move from the Elephantmen's sordid past to the future in which they are no longer under Mappo's control. However, seeing the Elephantmen in 1950's style professional wear is just so fantastic that it was easy to immediately go with the flow.

I've never been a fan of comics but I adored this one. I originally picked it up because of the name (I'm obsessed with elephants) and although it was not at all what I expected (I didn't read the synopsis),I really enjoyed it! It pulls you into this futuristic world and makes you question time and time again, who's the good guy and who's really the bad guy. The art was amazing,as was the story and the way everything was presented. Can't wait to read more!
