4.5 really. A great read, complex story, great characters. I was sorry when it ended. I love how this author gives you just enough clues so that you think you know who done it, but keeps introducing new facets to the mystery throughout. Lost half a star because

it was apparent Ty was going to vocalize just at the right time to save Robie

and that was a niggling irritant from the moment he was introduced.

Another great Baldacci novel. This one is about Will Robie, who goes back to the place he grew up and hasn't seen for 22 years after he learns his father is charged with murder.

Have you ever read a book so packed with action and intrigue that it left you exhausted? This was that book for me. Will Robie returns to his home town, questioning his future and his past. His estranged father has been arrested for murder, and that's just the tip of the unraveling of a lot of secrets. The book moves quickly, and the plot twist near the end made my jaw drop. This book has it all!
