This was really good. Quite creepy in an M Night Shyamalan sort of way. It wasn't the most SHOCKING story, I guessed the twist quite early on, but it kept me hooked and wanting more until it was done. :)

This was just okay. I finished it because I wanted to read it before the movie comes out.

I am not a fan of horror but this book, I loved it! It was scary but not over the top mind numbing scary, thank goodness. An Irish folklore turned horror story. Loved the development of he characters. The MC, Mina was a very strong character and the main narrator. The setting was in a remote forest that had all the feel of death. The bunker felt hopeless. It was both plot and character driven. Loved the build up of suspense and uncertainty. The twists were great and the last one had me saying OMG! My recommendation is to listen to this story on audio. I was so into it and felt i was part of it all the way to the end.
