For those with no background on the history of philosophy, this is a good book. After the chapter on the Romantics, the book started dragging. Talked WAY too much avout Darwin. The side plots were cute but also tedious if you just want the philosophy bits.
This was neat - an ambitious read for sure - a review of Western Civ in college. Parts were certainly strange, but I suppose that is to be expected. However, this did lead me to think quite a bit.

This story covers some of the major thoughts and schools in philosophy, which is great for someone just starting to explore the world of philosophy. It gives nice descriptions, good examples and contains a fun and suprising storyline. It is a little complicated and abstract at times (ofc not suprising for a book about philosophy... If it is easy to read, you won't be challenged by it), but maybe I was just too tired to focus.

I never thought that I kind of late to read this book by my age right now! But, I kind of shocked by the plot twist throughout this book, moreover the philosophy, the historical this book presented was supposed to be read by young teenagers maybe a surrounding age of 12 or up ..
I could say for them, this book was not that heavy to be read but somehow you just think quite BIG ahead when you finished reading it.
