Drama! I know this is the story but it feels like you need to land at some point... It is a little too much going on and too much emotion all at once... Also this book could be just as good even if som bits would be cut out.. A little too long book because it's feels like the same thing happens oven and over so your keep on reading but you're standing still... I still enjoy the read but I'm afraid that it will take me some time to read the fourth book because you kind of grow a little bit tired of the same thing happening over and over again... A shame really because I want to finish the series.

This book is soooooo long. This book could have left large chunks of the book on the editing floor. The long distance relationship is actually good for them.

Steph's betrayal came out of left field. Their toxic behavior continues. Just when I think they're getting better, one of them does something so terrible that I can't imagine them getting back together.

This one was the hardest to get through out of the 4 books due to its repetitiveness but again, I'll argue for the author that this is exactly what an incredibly toxic relationship feels. It's so back and forth we almost start to feel as drained as Tessa. Some people may argue, "Why the hell would you want to read something that drains you?" Well, luckily Todd did such a good job in the first 2 books that now you're attached, and here you are, up to the second last book and I suppose all you can wonder is do they get their happy ending?

I caved. I read it. I actually really enjoy this series, and Iā€™m ashamed to admit it. Definitely my least favorite of the books I think.

3.5x audiobook speed was not fast enough for this book. Both of the prior books my reviews stated how it was constant back and forth fighting and toxicity. The gaslighting...omg šŸ™„. Nothing has changed in book 3. I  tolerated it for the first two books cause those books still seemed to have a plot but this book was 850 pages of unnecessary. I should have DNF'd this book... I'm DNF'ing the rest of the series at this point.
