After We Fell by Anna Todd

I feel about this the same way I do the second book. Tessa just found out that her boyfriend posted explicit footage of a girl without her consent and the first thing she does is be jealous of said girl….? I would be horrified. The fact that she gets back together with him makes me believe they deserve each other. Also, another thing that bugs me about this series is that seemingly every person of the opposite gender is super attracted to Hardin and Tessa respectively. Give me a break.

As I said in my last review, yes their relationship is not normal, healthy and is toxic blah blah blah.
Im choosing to overlook all that because I'm not 15 years old and impressionable about a romance story affecting my love life.

Wow. What a ride that was. This book was a little more boring, but the story did finally move along for which I'm grateful.
I finally understand Hardin and the way he is. His personality traits are a lot more exposed, and his heart was worn on his sleeve throughout this book.

Hardin works so much harder to be better for Tessa and it showed. I really enjoyed this monster of a book. I can't wait for the next one.

Why, why, why, are these books so addictiing when they're so annoying and problematic?

"Couldn't we make our own story?"

As usual, I spent most of this book wanting to shake Tessa & Hardin so they would get their shit together. They didn't get their shit together, and I am still here for the drama. Something I appreciate about these books is that although most of it is predictable, there's always something I didn't really expect.
