Ableism/medical trauma - Sofia is in a wheelchair/brace due to a fall from a tall building and is called a cripple on more than one occassion. SPOILER **it is revealed that she did not need the wheelchair or brace at the end of the book** Death/murder - the plot centers around a serial killer who hangs people. Also Dick grayson's parents are murdered. Death of a parent - both Dick and Bruce jave murdered parents, Dicks are murdered during the plot of this book. Also Falcone died in The Long Halloween and his death is a driving force for his children in Dark Victory. Fire injury/car accident - the Joker does a drive by at Maroni's restaurant and the car catches on fire/kills his goons inside. Violence/blood - typical for modern Batman comics Grief - a driving force for Dick, Bruce, Gordon, and several police officers. Alcohol - in frame but not mentioned or relavant to the plot Confinememt - Catwoman wakes up in a casket that is being sent to the incinerator. SPOILER **batman saves her** Forced instutionalization - rogues are sent to Arkahm Police brutality - a brief mention of a cop that uses excessive force and the DA suggests that Batman uses excessive force on rogues. Suicide attempt - Alberto Falcone holds a gun to his head for one frame because the voices he hears tell him to SPOILER **the voices are calander man** Mental Illness - Alberto Falcone says he hears the voice of his dead father. SPOILER **this voice is calander man with a speaker system**

Another great Batman comic by the dynamic duo of comics ( Loeb & Sale ). It didn't capture me as much as the previous did, but it was still very good.
