Loaded with eccentric and delightful politically incorrect characters, this short book follows the adventures of the upper class Radlett family in the 1920s-30s. Set largely on their rural estate in the Cotswolds, the prose is very witty, satirising the lives of the British aristocracy of the time. A very light bit of entertainment but I don’t feel the need to read any more of her similar works.

It was an entertaining read after watching the Netflix show. I just don’t understand why everyone loved her. Also the ending was a big abrupt.
