I highly recommend this charming and thoughtful collection of Christmas stories, all based on images you are likely to find behind the doors of an advent calendar. Some fantastical, some based in reality, some nostalgic, some tragic, some funny, there really is something here for every mood. Very reflective in tone, with many of them relevant to recent world events. Well written and easy to read. A real pleasure from start to finish.
