Eh. I enjoyed this more in high school but it wasn't too bad this time around, I guess. Would have liked to see more dimensions to the characters. Everyone is really good or really bad without many shades of gray. It's fluff, but enjoyable fluff.

I picked up this book on a whim just because I wanted a quick read and felt like reading a "teeny-bopper" book. It was a great book and fun to just sit back and read on a rainy day. It was tough reading about Teagan her feelings towards her mom since I lost my mom to cancer just last summer. If you are looking for a quick and fun read, I'd definitely pick this one up.

Love her work! I read this book multiple times, and enjoyed the way she wrote the main characters perspective. Great modern twist to the classic Christmas Carol

Ha -- this was Dickens' A Christmas Carol rewritten for today's teen and taking place at an over-the-top ridiculous Sweet Sixteen party. The main character was mean to the point of caricature which made her redemption a little unbelievable, but I guess that gets the point across. I sure hate to think there are really kids out there like this.
Oh bonus -- it did not take place in Manhattan. I about fell off my couch! Philadelphia -- what a breath of fresh air.
