Read-aloud for my boys. Another series from my childhood that I'd remembered fondly and hoped that it wasn't just an aging memory. This one was good, and I'm excited to (re)read the rest. There are parts of it that are a bit dated, but it was an otherwise solid if a bit plot-free YA novel. The boys seemed to like it well enough too, so we'll be continuing the series.
