This is where the series begins to completely fall apart from me. The soap opera factor intensifies a thousand fold, POLARIS IS CRAZY ERMAGAHD CRAZY AAAARGGGGHHH CRAZY instead of an actual character, long dangling plot threads start to be gathered up, as we approach the ending of the series, but it seems to take itself more seriously than it should.

I found myself skimming pages just to get through this volume.

I don't think you need to read it.
