Wow I do not understand all of the hate for this book! A simple message and a short read! I think this book found me at a good time, and I'm glad I read it, but wow oh wow seems not to be everyone's cup of tea! If you are a cynical soul who dislikes meditation and gratitude this one's not for you :P 4 ⭐

I believe every reader has and will read this book in their life.
I picked this one for a light hearted read. I recently got it and had been wanting to read it for like forever.
When I talk about this book, it's not just fiction, right?
It's different like all books of Paulo Coelho , Brida being my favourite.
The Alchemist, in a very simple way teaches us a lot of things.
I believe it shows us, in a beautiful manner, to connect to the world, to nature, to discover the soul of the world but above all discover our own soul, to know ourselves inside out.
It's all about self discovery, being in harmony with the world, life and nature. For me, It's also about healing.
Reading it in the current situation aka Quarantine life, has made me deeply feel this book because aren't we discovering ourselves right now?
Life has given us the pause we needed to ponder about our journey, our experiences, our thoughts, everything we have been through, and connect to our ownselves.

I listened to this book on a car ride and I have to say it has become one of my favorites. The story is simple yet deep and was a great experience overall!
