After the second instance of Cat making a gigantic assumption and storming off, I gave up. She's supposed to be in her 30's and acts like a teenager. Which I understand she has no relationship experience but come on. I also found myself checking to see how much was left way too often.

Die Geschichte ist eine gut umgesetzte Enemies-to-Lovers-Romanze, bei der die Charaktere tatsächlich Zeit brauchen, um zueinanderzufinden. Doch je mehr sie über einander erfahren und sich gegenseitig verstehen, desto tiefer wird ihre Verbindung.
Der Einstieg war etwas langsam, und ich habe erst ab dem ersten Drittel wirklich in die Handlung gefunden. Ab diesem Punkt wurde es jedoch deutlich flüssiger und fesselnder zu lesen. Ein Punkt, der mir gefehlt hat, war ein tieferer Einblick in die eigentlichen Renovierungs- und Dreharbeiten. Stattdessen lag der Fokus oft auf der Planung, was ich etwas schade fand.
Alles in allem ist The Christmas Fix eine schöne romantische Geschichte mit einer guten Prise Weihnachtszauber! 🎄
This book was a funny spicy Christmas read. I loved the tension between characters and the whole enemy to lovers thing. The spice was the perfect amount for this kind of book. I have not read Mr fixer upper so I can’t really compare the two but I really love this book for the holidays. It gets you in the holiday spirit and it such a hallmark big community type vibe.
I loved this one! I also love Lucy Score so that is helpful too! I am not a huge fan of HGTV and I still loved this one! Cat swoops in to help rebuild a town that means so much to her, but the Mayor does not want her help at all. He is a total grump and Cat has a heart of gold! Of course, the heat between them is something else and ugh! It is SO cute!!! Please go read this one!

I adored the small town warmth, familial bond, well-written banter, and the sweet ’n’ spicy “don’t hold back” scenes between Cat and Noah.
