Cute Christmas rom com. Basically HGTV fix up the town show where the reality star/host falls for the grumpy single dad city manager. Went on longer than it needed to, I think with all of the build up of re-building the town, the reveal would have been a little more than it was. Kind of just a page or two. Maybe would have been better as a short book/novella. But it was cute, nonetheless.

The Christmas Fix (Fixer: King SIblings Book 2)
Rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“There’s no life-work balance. Okay? Get it? It’s all life. You get the same twenty-four hours as the next girl. Fill yours with what you love.”
“You’re the color in a gray day. I don’t know how else to describe it. I look at you, and I see all this passion and joy and fun and excitement.”

Well Lucy Score got me again! I devoured this book. Full of Christmas vibes, and good will towards all, this book told the story of Noah, the city manager of a town devastated by a hurricane, and Cat, a reality tv star on a fixer upper network who tries to fix up the town and save the its Christmas festival.
This book was the epitome of opposites attract, and I was here for it! Noah, a single dad, who was just a little overprotective, played it safe, and loved the word "no," was definitley a bit of a grump. Though quite the talker IYKWIM 😉. And Cat? She was all about fun, her career, and her life goals. One would think this wouldn't work, but they each pulled the other in their directions... Noah learning how to let loose, and Cat learning there is more to life than work. I loved the character growth of these two!
But honestly, the ending made the book for me! Adoarable was an understatement!
