I received this book as a gift from a group I'm in (I didn't get the name of the gifter, so if it was you, thank you!). I have devoured Christmas stories since November and haven't regretted a single one, but this was the first book by Lucy Score I've read. Bear with me a moment while I go add all her work to my TBR list...

In The Christmas Fix, Cat returns to the town of Merry following a devastating hurricane and flood of the small New England town (turns out there's a back story in Mr. Fixer Upper, but it wasn't necessary to get into the story). As a reality TV celebrity hosting a home renovation show, Cat feels the call to return to Merry and help renovate the city before their annual Christmas Festival, the driver of income from tourism for the small town. A grumpy mayor in the form of a tall, dark, and handsome man with glasses stands in her way, with a bad attitude and misguided perception of just who Cat is. With a secret from their past and a team of volunteers, including her family business, King Construction, Cat sets out to prove Mayor Scrooge, aka Noah, wrong about who she is and what she wants.

This is the perfect recipe of enemies to lovers, small town environment, witty banter, and Christmas magic!
