Another good book from S.L. Farrell. Very epic in nature - bringing back some characters you get to know from the first book while introducing a new cast as well. I’m always skeptical when a sequel takes place so long after the original book (this one was 25 years later), as I always find myself missing the original players. And while some who played a major role in the first didn’t reprise, those who took their places were just as interesting. Though I still liked book 1 a bit better, this was quite an engaging read and I’m looking forward to seeing how it all wraps up.
