Lizbeth has to go and rescue Eli from being falsely imprisoned. Really fast paced, interesting story. Lizbeth comes in guns blazing into every situation, shooting first and asking questions later and I think that was hilarious.

This series just gets better and better. I'll follow Lizbeth Rose anywhere.

I just want to say a thank you to Galley books and Netgalley for sending me the e-arc for this book. When I requested this book I didnt know it was the third book in the series so decided to read the first book and I didnt regret it. I fell in love with the characters Lizabeth Rose and Eli. I straight up binged the first two books and I was so happy to finially get to this book. I enjoyed the writing and the new characters that were introduced. I wish that for some of the characters there should have been more written to their background instead of focusing so much on lizzie. My favorite character that popped out to me in this book was felicia . I hope we get more of her in the next book. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends

Fun and fast-moving but the world-building is... eh, and Lizbeth's attitudes towards certain things are inconsistent. (She's revolted by the idea of a thirty-year-old man courting an eighteen-year-old girl... at the age of eighteen she was in a relationship with a man who had a twelve-year-old child and said he'd been "waiting for her to get old enough" to sleep with. And she grew up in a country where same-sex relationships were normal and unremarkable, but coyly refuses to flat-out tell us someone is gay - it's hinted at various points by others and she tells us she "realized why" the character might not be interested in women, but she won't just come out and say it. It's weird.)

The action in these books is always fun and Lisbeth seems the only person who can get stuff done. The writing style still isn’t my favorite but the story is good.

I've enjoyed most of Charlaine Harris' series, but this might just be my favorite (which says a lot, because Gunnie Rose had quite a challenge living up to Lily Bard). I'd been waiting for this book, and it didn't disappoint.

Another exciting, action pact addition to the series as Lizbeth races across the country to save/break Eli from prison and set to right again the unfavorable light his family has found themselves in after the failed plots of the father. Lizbeth find herself with a lot more on her plate then she ever could have imagined and her sister has been keeping some secrets. Loved it!

Gunnie Rose is gifted with a gun and an expert in surviving. The Russian Cage puts Gunnie in situations where she has to adapt, improvise and fake it in a world apart from what she’s used to. I really enjoyed this peek into Eli’s life and family. This story takes their relationship to the next level. I was blown away by this installment and hope we get to visit with her again.

Not my favorite in the series, but ended well and was enjoyable. Had to get about 30% of the way through it to really get into it, other than that it delivered.
