Small book, huge impact.
I read this book in less than two hours in the middle of the night (Jetlag) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Will devour this book again and again.
You know, you kinda know what’s coming in the end. Still, I was not prepared. Definitely needed a good cry.
What I especially admire about this book it that it acknowledges issues and still forgives. The past is the past. Second chances exist and people can heal.

I read this for my life skills class and didn’t expect to really like it. It was okay, I would recommend it more for younger teens.

this book was soo beautiful yet it was heartache & pain !!!
i love Jack & jack’s parents & joseph (you have my heart)😭
~it brought me tears & i loved joseph & jack for what they’re & their bonding & for who they were & i love them cuz they’ve got each other’s back no matter the whole world against them !!!
Joseph was assigned to jack’s parent’s house as a foster kid who barely speaks nothing to jack & his parents ever since he started living with them. joseph’s past is just soo heartbreaking that you can’t help but want to give him a hug !!!
i hated certain characters soo much that i want to punch them on their fucking faces, it made me soo angry that i wanted to scream.
it’s an easy & simple book to read in one sitting & can’t help but feel sad.
it’ll make you believe in how beautiful humans are & also how cruel can humans get !!!
