This was an amazing book. It was told in the perfect way in the character development was great too.
The ending though? I did NOT see that coming. I knew it was supposed to be a sad book, but it still took me a surprise.<spoiler/> The ending was nicely bittersweet too. It was a great story about second chances. And as the book only has nine chapters, I think the author did that on purpose, just to show that life never always finishes where it’s expected to.

- This is the kind of book that you start off knowing that you would enjoy it. It is a very easy read, and I enjoy being able to digest through the contents fairly quickly. The book had interesting characters and the story overall was engaging.

I like that despite the main topic being teen pregnancy and loss, Schidt also touches on issues such as bullying and discrimination faced by "troubled" kids.

This is perfect if you're in the mood for a light cry, and would prefer a quick read.

I wasn’t too sure about this in the beginning. The writing style grew on me and I grew to love it by the end of the book. The emotions portrayed left me with a pit in my stomach. It’s a short read but I a very impactful one.

This book broke my soul. I haven’t felt this much pain from a book in awhile. This was my VRC book #3.
