The Traveler's Handbook to Chime is mentioned quite a few times in the main series, The Cruel Gods. As an accompanying work to the main novels, it's a nice little reminder of all the various races and Gods, along with the domains they come from. Billed as part world building compendium and part novella, I'd say it's more compendium than novella. I liked the added scrawls from Kayl which fill in some of the details that an official handbook aren't allowed to say, however they are short and thin on the ground. If these had been longer/more in depth, this would easily have been a four star read.
