This was okay. It didn't grip me, and I also wasn't in a rush to finish it. The pacing was too slow for my personal taste, and a lot of the inner dialogue that was meant to be witty and dry humour fell flat, in my opinion.

The main character is telling us the story of how she enacted revenge on the family of her bio father because he abandoned her and her mother before she was born and as a result she grew up in poverty.
While this could have been an interest premise, unfortunately, the fmc is an incredibly boring person who is actually just as unlikeable as the people she's trying to end. The parts I most enjoyed were the scenes where she actually kills the people because the pacing picked up in those particular scenes. Afterwards, it was back to the slow pace, where she told us in exact minutae detail how she prepared by stalking her victims.

The twist, in the end, didn't pack a punch. I could appreciate the irony because, like I said, it highlighted the fact that in the end, she wasn't so different from the family members that she murdered. Much like them, she never noticed the people she deemed beneath her.

Grace is in prison for a murder she didn’t commit. So while she’s inside, she’s writing a memoir… of the murders she did commit, and got away with.

I loved the writing, loved the plot. Grace tells the story of how she bumped off members of the rich, pretty awful family who rejected her as a child. Each murder is different and it’s intriguing to see how they come about.

The ending made me a little mad. Grace isn’t a nice person but she didn’t deserve that ending… I can’t really say much because of spoilers, but I wasn’t expecting it.

Overall this was a quick and fun read.

This started out interesting but it became a lot of rambling about how hateful her family was and I was just not interested...
