If you're looking for a deep, interesting plot this isn't your book. I picked it up for a quick, smutty palette cleanser and it was exactly what I wanted. I have a lot of questions about the plot now that I'm done reading, but that didn't really impact the fact that I did enjoy the book. The writing is fun and who doesn't love two Scottish men.

I have a major ick if seeing two men go at each other is described with the words "forbidden" in an exciting context. Very surface level characterization. Not that I expect deep characters in an erotica novel but the bare minimum also isn't really clicking. The idea tho, with the dragons and all. Kinda cool. Execution and what has been done with that idea. No.

If you’re reading it for the plot, you won’t love it. If you’re reading it for the smut, you’ll love it. I was hoping this would be something more in the middle, but the plot definitely fell through at times. The premise of this world is super straight forward, and all MCs were really likeable. I think this book would’ve benefitted from being a bit longer to add in some additional character development, though.
