For now

Independent reviewer for Book Sirens, I was gifted my copy of this book.

Sometimes, you just need a book to fall into, that isn't too complicated, or dramatic. That just grabs you for a bit and you lose yourself for a little while. This is such a book.

It's fairly short, I read it in little over an hour. But there is a lot of steam on those pages. This book is HEAVY on the smexy times, both for Lachlin and Alec (MM) and for both men with Chloe (MMF) and for me, that was a good thing. I like my books, especially paranormal ones AND multi partner ones, on the more smexy side, but I can see that this would put some others off.

I found that it was lacking in a decent plot line, though! I mean there was little to no history of Lachlan and Alec, other than they'd been together a long time. I would have liked more of these two, from before they came to the States. There was some history about why the dragons had no females, and why they came across as so agressively possessive. I would have liked more, cos you know, I'm greedy!

This is NOT a reverse harem book, this is a menage relationship between the three of them, in every which way possibly. Some reviewers are saying its a RH book, but to me, that means the female has relationships with more than one man, and the men have no relationship with each other. But thats not what happens here. Lach and Alec are already in a committed relationship, and they just needed Chloe to be free before they claimed her as their mate.

This is the first book I've read by this author, and I really would like to read more. I would certainly read future books in this series. I like the author's take on dragons and what they can do, given their mixed heritage.

A good easy read, 3 stars

I too would love to be whisked away to Scotland by a pair of Scottish Dragon Shifters, where do I sign up?
