walked into this a casual Beatles fan and literally walking out with a purple heart < / 3 

(this is such a good biography it's actually insane like i cannot stop thinking about paul mccartney saying "i still check my songs with him")

A fascinating history of John and Paul’s relationship. Incredibly well researched, but in some ways felt speculative. It’s not salacious and treats everyone with respect while fully acknowledging misdeeds and bad behavior. I don’t read much about the Beatles, but this book was worth the time.
