Absolutely fantastic!
I found this book rather scary which speaks to the quality of writing.
Probably a 4.5 for being a bit Infodumpy and Confusing about Time and the characters feel a smidge underdone (Lockwood himself reads as bbc Sherlock fanfiction for some reason) but honestly I just had a very fun time the whole way and I’m amazed this is middle grade fiction and I just really enjoyed the whole thing. I might even read more in the series.
