5 stars for Devils Day Party by C.M. Stunich. This is a standalone reverse harem bully romance. Honestly, it has taken me a couple days to put my thoughts about this book together, and I still have no idea what to say. I have not read any other book like this one. It is an extremely dark book. This book has the whole Groundhogs Day thing going on. Karma must keep repeating Devil’s Day over and over and she is trying to figure out why and how to get it to stop. Calix, Barron, and Raz all have secrets and Karma needs to figure them out. Turns out that she has some secrets, even secrets she has not admitted to herself. This book has drama, romance, hate, suspense, and some steamy scenes. I enjoyed every second of this book, waiting to see what would happen next. It was a fantastic read.

Intriguing and engrossing! This book was a wild ride from start to finish. I couldn’t put it down and lived for the discoveries the heroine made along the way about herself and those around her. The time loop concept was unique and fascinating. Each day was a chance to right some wrongs, or live and love selfishly without regret!

I’ll be honest, I didn’t know this was a reverse harem bully romance when I started the book. I just figured it was a typical bully romance read based on the portion of this novel that I read in the Bully Me Anthology. But, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I actually liked each of the male characters and understood why the heroine ended up having a connection with all 3 of them. Each man held unique qualities and brought out different feelings and emotions in the heroine.

I can honestly say, I liked every character in this story! (Well except for maybe Erina!) They had their own drama and history which brought such emotion and multi layered complexity to the read. There were so many sub storylines going on in the background but they were neither distracting or confusing.

I loved seeing the heroine Karma grow over the course of the story and prove how mature and compassionate she was toward everyone who’d wronged her and broken her spirit. She loved fiercely. I was completely captivated by her loyalty to her best friends and her loving family dynamic. She was surrounded by such kind hearted people, aside from her tormentors.

I didn’t see the ending coming and was a little heartbroken at the reality of that whole conclusion to the time loop plot but the author brought it back around to a wonderful HEA.

I’d love to see where these characters ended up after the 3 year time jump epilogue!

I personally like bully romances. I love RH, and I love Poly relationships. If you don’t then you might night like this book. However, with preference and taste aside, this book drew me in and I ended up finishing it in a day.
Karma, the female MC, has strong feelings for her three tormentors— Raz, Calix, and Barren, but she doesn’t know how much they feel for her. She thinks they are pranking her, making her life miserable, when in reality they are all in love with her.
After her first Devils night fiasco and dying she wakes up the next 30 something days after repeating the same day over. She takes the opportunity to learn the guys, learn herself, and becomes more confident and less scared. She also spends time with other peers she’s trying to save and get closer to her family.
I enjoyed watching her break the boys down bit by bit. And then the scenes with the all of them together oooohhh weeee. It’s spicy but not too spicy. There’s one or two scenes when two of the boys kiss, but I don’t think they like or love each other, they only do it for Karma.
There’s a bunch of life lessons in the book—by taking each day because you don’t know if it’s your last.

Passion and angst with heart stopping twists.

Never in this story did I expect what was coming next. Each character came alive for me. I was lost in the depth of their souls and I clung to the unknown darkness. I connected to them with ease. The words dripping in emotions. The story unravels and kept me on my toes at every turn of the page. I was hooked and never wanted it to end. It was everything I’d ever want a High School bully romance to be. The angst flowed so smoothly, their chemistry had me panting for more, fierce alphahole’s that can seamlessly switch from brutality to gentle vulnerability with ease. They wooed me and I was swooning all over the floor.

Karma Sartain & Calix Knight, Barron Farrar, Raz Loveren

I am not really a fan of bully romance but I am so happy I gave this one a chance. Now it is one of my favorites RH.

This is more "I love you so I bully you" romance in my opinion, there were some things that I just didn't understand done by the boys such as putting the girls in caves or cages or whatever and leave them there. I didn't understand the whole point in that but whatever, sometimes that's bully romance to me, a big bullshit I don't mostly understand.

The whole idea with the time loop was amazing! After the first chapter, I kept thinking when will it be over or if it will be over. Also, during some chapters, I was just happy that was not it, and that everything will go back.

From all the boys I think I loved Raz the most. I am not sure why because he was a big bully bad guy and mean to Karma sometimes, but I felt like the closest to him somehow. In the end, I loved them all after a few chapters and after I saw them with Karma, EVEN THOUGH I don't understand the whole thing with "I love you so I bully you". For some people it is hard to act nice, and, as Karma said, they were sad.

At one point I really thought Barron remembers everything and he is in this time loop with Karma but doesn't realize it. In a way, all the characters were in this time loop with her, somehow some managing to remember a few details about the other times.

During the book she has beautiful moments with all the guys separately, not being able to tell them all that she loves them and all of them being ok with that. There is a threesome beautiful scene, also MM kiss,
SpoilerRaz & Calix , which was very yummy and hot! I loved them together.

So, in the end, I loved it, I really did. Even though there was bully involved in this story and mostly ALL the characters did stupid shit, even Karma when she did that thing to Pearl, I loved this story a lot! I loved the end, the guys, everything.

I was hesitant to read this because I'm not a fan of bully romance, but I'm so glad I gave this a chance! I couldn't put it down once I started. I usually don't write reviews, but I saw that there were a lot of negative reviews that I don't think this book has earned. I will admit that the purple prose is... a lot, but other than that, I'm not really sure why there are so many negative reviews. If you're on the fence about, I'd suggest just giving it a try because (as I said before) I'm glad I did. I should also mention that while I'm not a fan of bully romance, I am a huge fan of reverse harem, and it's really hard to find an rh standalone that fleshes out characters so well.

I love a good time loop story and I think the author did a good job not making it feel repeated or stagnant. Usually with bully romances I'd hope for some sort of redemption arc, in this case the redemption would've been extremely long, but the fact that there wasn't one to flesh out the characters made the book less enjoyable for me. Even by the end of the book I didn't want the heroine to be with any of the guys, I felt like they didn't deserve her love especially after all they've done. On the surface level it's a good book with good writing, if you like reverse harems and bullies then you'll like this. For me, personally, it was a no.
