How do I write a review that will do this book justice?!?! The truth is I don't think I can...

It was such a special experience that I'm at loss for words to describe how much love for this book I'm experiencing right now. It will stick with me forever in the best possible way.

All I can really say is that it's a MUST READ!

Okay this reminded me [b:Before I Fall|6482837|Before I Fall|Lauren Oliver|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1361044695l/6482837._SY75_.jpg|6674135] but with more redo days and a crap ton more of deaths.

Devils' Day Party was an interesting RH kind of book. While living in a continuous loop, Karma is trying to figure out what's real and what isn't. Then she needs to figure out how to save all of her loved ones from dying too. Plus, she tries to keep her heart and feelings for three troublesome boys that have her heart. Long story short, she has a full plate and the world on the shoulders every freaking day.

Besides her, we get to meet Calix, Raz and Barron. Of course they love to torment her and other people.. but they all have the same dark secret: they love her. It takes endless days, weeks, and possibly months of reliving the same time loop and trying to come up with a different outcome. It was also interesting when each person she interacted with would remember a saying that she said to them but didn't know why they said it.

I will even admit that Barron scared me the most because he drew what he saw. So each time loop he drew something that happened and one of the picture made me so sad that he remembered a sliver of it. Other than that, the ending was definitely different than what I was expecting. Again, since it was somewhat similar to [b:Before I Fall|6482837|Before I Fall|Lauren Oliver|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1361044695l/6482837._SY75_.jpg|6674135] I thought it was going to go down that route. It didn't.. and I will accept that as a pleasant surprise.

I can’t begin to explain how full of emotion and energy this book is. It’s almost suffocating. Absolute world wind of emotion, love , sacrifice, and joy. Worthwhile  read and terrific writing <3

Hmmm... not sure

I’m not really sure how I feel about this book. Some of the plot lines fell flat for me but for the most part I liked the story and I was eager to see how it ended. Ultimately I think it was too long for what the characters accomplished (lots of filler) but still well written.

I’m surprised

I don’t know how she did it... but she did the damn thing. When I first started this standalone bully romance I was iffy on it. The bullying was definitely not soft bullying, even some violence is involved. And I don’t feel like there was ever really a justified reason behind the bullying... but yet I still grew attached to the characters. I still rooted for them. And I cried from all the emotions towards the end of the book. I swear I really didn’t think I was going to like this book. Even at about the 50% mark I still had mixed feelings, but CM somehow made me root for them, cry for them and hope they made it out together.

Our main character is stuck living the same day over and over, living through her torment from her bullies over and over while trying to figure out how to break the time loop. Every day is the same but also different. Our girl tries to make a new timeline every single day while falling in love with her bullies, trying to understand how she got to this point in her life and how to get past it. This book is about personal growth and understanding that life is not meant to be taken for granted, and that every thing you do has a ripple effect... everything you do will affect other people in some way even if you don’t mean it to.

My biggest issue with the book is that one of the guys is supposedly an alcoholic in recovery, he has a new habit he took up to keep him from drinking... but later in the book it’s mentioned a few times about him picking up a vodka bottle or grabbing a beer, etc. and it was never discussed how he fell off the wagon? I feel like that’s a big deal, someone who is supposedly an “ex alcoholic” but nobody thinks it’s a big deal when he’s drinking with everyone. I mean it’s his choice, but I feel like it should have been addressed.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book. I honestly didn’t think I would because again, I like a little softer bullying or at least there to be a good enough reason behind the bullying, but I still enjoyed this book.

I don’t like HS bully romances but this was so well done. It was interesting, mysterious, smutty, and had a Groundhog Day trope that I love. Pleasantly surprised.
