An intriguing, entertaining read, as usual. Not gonna lie, the stories here speak glaring, uncomfortable truths about society, and would leave you contemplative in the end.

Some of the stories here, I've actually read in booklets the author has printed separately before.

After I was done with the book, I went back to the table of contents to test whether I'd still remember the plots in each story. (It's months before I got to finally finish the book, because of work.) Happy to report that I passed that test.

'Lies All Lies' is a fictional masterpiece that tackles the ironies of our prolonged dispositions in a witty and perceptively. With exacting humor, it challenges standards we abide by, beliefs ingrained in us, unavoidable circumstances we find ourselves in, and many other facets of society and how we identify ourselves as a part of it.

The sarcasm will have you laughing but at the same time urge you to think of these things from a perspective that is rooted in realism. The lessons are haunting and I often found myself pausing in between the chuckles to reflect on our current realities. I would definitely read it two, three, or even more times if I need some grounding.
