Beth spent 10 years in marriage with an emotional and physically abusive husband. The only joy in her life were the 3 boys from the marriage. When her husband dies in a car accident Beth is ready to begin again and she's ready to begin in a small town, ready for new adventures. She's not necessarily ready for a relationship but she wouldn't mind something besides missionary position in the bedroom. Meeting Daniel at a bar wasn't in her plan but that super sexy man is just what he needs. Daniel is attracted to Beth and is willing to give her just the physical but as he gets to know her, and her sons, he wants so much more. Can he convince her that taking a chance at a real relationship is worth the risk? Or is Beth willing to let him go to protect her heart? Fun, sexy read with humor, dirty bits, and heart. Love this series!

Beth and Daniel's story.
I enjoyed it.
I was sort of heart-broken that neither one of them were able to have more children, which they both seemed to want.
I hate the asshole she was married to before, and I'm honestly glad he's dead.
Yes, I said it.
I hate abusers.

I really enjoyed this story! Beth and Daniel are fantastic and I loved her boys. I loved watching Beth and Daniel come together and build something. I loved how Daniel expressed he wanted her and happy to help her explore the non vanilla side of things but that he also wanted them to become friends, that he wanted more and would take the friends and building that relationship first but that it was more than just physical. He was so great with Beth and her boys naturally. He could read their feelings and see that things were a little off. He created a safe place for them and was so good at it and pushing them just enough, while keeping them safe. This book was an easy one to read and engage with the characters. I really enjoyed it and loved getting to see more of Jaxi and Blake as well as the rest of the Colemans throughout the book as well.
The narrator did a good job with the story and the characters.

Holy shit, this was a hot story. Daniel meets Beth in a bar and he is immediately attracted to her. He senses that she's not ready for something serious, so he lets her take the lead. He gets her number and then she goes missing. He never thought she'd show up in the same town he lives in and living in the house he was living in.

Beth is finally free of her abusive dickhead of a husband. She's happier then before, she's got her three boys and a job in a new town. Its a new start to a new life. Meeting Daniel caused her to feel things she thought were long and dead. Daniel woke up her libido and he also started her heart to racing.

I really enjoyed this story. Daniel was patient and kind. He never rushed her and always took care with her. He let her set the pace of their relationship and knew that she had to put her kids first. I was glad that even though they started sleeping together their relationship didn't rush, it wasn't bam we're in love and all that rot. They worked at it and it was a slow progression. Daniel was hot, phone sex and doing all the non vanilla things with her. Then showing him being tender with her boys was enough to melt a girl. GO and read these books, and then leave the author some love in the form of a review!

I cleared some time and dove in to Rocky Mountain Haven. Yet again I haven't read the original and I don't need to. I loved this story how it is now.

The wounded and recovering Beth and her boys, who were not annoying or over shadowing anything. Daniel who is just so emotionally yummy, not to mention physically, but its how he is toward Beth that really pulled me in. He was soft and gooey inside but still a tower of strength. He had no problem falling in love, it even seemed he was looking forward to it.

I have to admit I cried at the end too. I won't give away when or why but oh how my heart hurt for Beth and Daniel. It was perfect.

I don’t really remember the first book until about the middle of this one then it all came back.

Overall this book was ok. It was a little predictable but really low on drama which I appreciate. And who doesn’t love a good love story about starting over after a painful past. Especially for a single momma.

Tatiana does a great job with this book. I don’t know if I listened to her do too many MC books or what but I kept thinking Daniel was going to get on a motorcycle.
