Good storyline. A widow who was subjected to domestic violence falls in love with a cowboy that was sweet, gentle but kinky.

Oh, yeah, romance with kids - I totally adore this stuff.

I love the whole interaction between the kids and the new boyfriend/girlfriend and that's also why I had to deduct a star. Cause I don't know, I liked the plot and the writing style and everything and the characters were really gorgeous. I think Beth is really strong and determined and I love that she finally admits what she is feeling. What was missing, though, were some more scenes with Daniel and the kids.
Sure, the ending was swoon-worthy. I mean, gosh, when the kids finally opened up, I had to cry like a river. But that was all a bit abrupt and only recounted by Daniel. There were never really scenes where we could sense or see the kids' careful side.

Yeah, but anyways, it was a good read and after I read a part of chapter one of Matt's book, I think I'm addicted to another series. Well, damn...

The story of recent widow Beth and cowboy Daniel. There was definitely a case of instalust going on here and I am a little sad we didn’t get more of the twins. They seemed pretty hot at the beginning.

I liked the premise of the story. After 10 years in a pretty shitty marriage, Beth is up for an adventure and Daniel could be just that guy. At first she runs away but fate draws them together.

The story was good but it felt a little dated and old fashioned. Beth has three children so a lot of the story focused on finding pockets of time alone and keeping the relationship from the children. It was a bit frustrating at times.

And a small part of me felt that after 10 years trapped in a bad marriage, Beth should celebrate her freedom more rather than walking straight into another longterm connection. But that’s just me.

It was a hot read. Daniel had a dirty mouth. I liked that. If you like a traditional cowboy meets girl romance with a good HEA then this is for you.

Couldn't finish. Lame start and just couldn't care about these characters. The female main character was beyond grating. Have read other books by this author I really enjoyed but this one just wouldn't work for me.

I got bored and the use of 'darling' and 'Miss Beth' made my eyes roll.

I'm in a weird contemporary mood and I thought this would do as I didn't hate the first one but I was wrong. Not really interested in continuing with this series as I find most of the men annoying and so far I've not been that big a fan of any of the women.

Beth goes to a bar one night with her sister to blow off steam and have a night away from her boys. When she meets a sexy cowboy, she thinks she could be bold. But when things go beyond what she thought would be brazen, she's disappointed.

Moved into a new town, she wants to start fresh and put the past behind her. Who knew the man who rented the house to her would be the father of said sexy cowboy.

Daniel is a man of integrity, hard work, and loyalty. He works with his family and has ambitions. He's also got eyes for Beth and doesn't care if he has to move slow to get it.

A very slow burn and sexy story with heartfelt meanings and incredibly sweet moments. I'm looking forward to checking out more of the Six Pack Ranch books. This was lovely.

This was a very good story. I was honestly surprised by how much I liked it since I thought book one was just OK. I loved Beth and Daniel as a couple. They both had some emotional scars to deal with and I liked how everything was handled. They had great chemistry and the sex scenes were pretty hot. There were a few scenes in the book that brought tears to my eyes and I enjoyed how the story ended.
