Yhaaa... mau gimana lagi... Becky ini sungguh menyebalkan. Tapi dia ga muncul tiba2 udah seperti itu.
Tapi sayangnya demikian, ya...

Loved it
My favorite book series so sweet and funny. I love Becky and Luke. Danny was extra funny in this book. Can't wait to read the next book. Hopefully Jess is in that book more.

I can't help loving these books. They are utter fluff but such quick fun. I am looking forward to the next one in VEGAS. :)
Don’t get me wrong it’s a good easy read again from Sophie Kinsella and it’s very typical Becky book that you could imagine being true to her character but just lacked a little something compared to the others in my opinion. But I still loved it
It was ok. I liked the other shopaholic books much better though.
funny
medium-paced
Flaws of characters a main focus:

Same ol' formula, same ol' Becky. If you've liked the Shopaholic Series you'll like this too, not as good as her stand alone books, but it was all I needed it to be.
Another great one by Sophie Kinsella. Becky continues to get herself into situations that make me squirm. I know she's gonna find her way out of it, but I still squirm nonetheless. The ending left a lot to be desired. Sophie has never just cut the story short like that before. There are so many unanswered questions. I'm sure they will be answered in the next one.
Reading reviews of this gives me faith in the reading public. Most people--even self-confessed chick-lit lovers--had little patience for this book, and were as frustrated as I was to approach the ending, count the remaining pages, and think: Wait. What? This is only Book I? I have been suckered into reading the next one to find out what happens to all the Rebeccas (and, no, that's not really a spoiler)?
I would have stopped reading Shopaholic books around #3 if it weren't for Kinsella's light and breezy touch, something that gets a much better framework in her stand-alone books. There are sentences--sentences, not paragraphs or chapters--in the text that are flat-out hilarious. Her send-up of LA and Golden Peace is spot-on, and very funny. It's just that nobody as brain-dead as Becky Brandon can sustain a series of wacky adventures, let alone friendships, marriage and motherhood.
Off to look for spoilers for the next book...

Ugh. The biggest disappointment about this book is the way it ended. Because if I really want to know how it ends, I am going to have to read the NEXT ONE. Is Sophie kidding me?
Its time for Becky to retire... she is completely unlikeable and the last few pages were a joke. But the ending? It wasn't even an ending and I feel bitter and manipulated. I gave it an extra star because I hung in with Becky for a long time, she deserved better than this nonsense.
