Brain Candy. Gone bad...

This book needed an editor. I usually love these books and its stupidity. But this one was a chore to get through.

I thought Becky was pretty atrocious in this one, pretty much from start to finish. But the cliffhanger ending means that the story really isn't over yet, so I'm looking to see how it resolves in the next book...

I am a big fan of this series and was surprised when I spotted the book in the store. I had not idea when it was released.
It was a struggle to get through the book and I kept wondering if maybe I've become bored or something. How can I have liked a character a lot all this time and then just want the book to end asap?
I don't want to review it because am disappointed. Becky Bloomwood is stupid and shallow in this book. In the first book, she had problems but she was enterprising and full of ideas. Not here. I think am done with this series.

I liked the Kinsella style as always and the unpredictability but the story itself was not that good in my opinion.

I obviously can't wait for the next one to see what happens...

I love all the "wtf, America" parts. Also, STARS! Fake movie stars in books are hilarious.

I love the Shopaholic series. They are quick, fun, easy to read books that usually make me laugh and smile. However, I really had a hard time liking Becky in this book. In the previous books in this series, we see her battling her compulsive shopping habits, making not-so-great decisions, but she comes off as endearing, silly, and likable and you root for her to succeed. In Shopaholic to the Stars, Becky is so focused on becoming a Hollywood stylist that she puts her family and friends on the back burner. She was so self absorbed and selfish. She does realize the errors of her ways at the end of the book, but for me, it was too late. I hope that the next book brings back the old Becky.

it was good not as the rest of the series. I didn't like the first half at all. it was so meaningless and so long.
the thing I loved the most about shopaholic to the stars was Luck he was so perfect.
