This book in the beginning gave me chills. If I had a child it probably would have been even more frightening. The last few chapters are where the last star was lost. It was less detailed & spooky. Normally book get better and more intense, this book did the opposite. Overall it was a good one & I would recommend.

This wasn't so much a horror novel as grandly disturbing. As a parent of two small children, it makes me uncomfortable to think that a child could be so evil. It plays on the fears that as a parent, you could have a child that just hates you.
