Really inspiring, as an army of 5+ years I have never stopped respecting these men for their drive and humbleness. Reading this book makes me feel a lot more reassured ever since people started labeling them as sellouts. They are just trying to do what makes them happy, they can’t help but be really good at what they do! It’s fascinating seeing how that can be a double sided sword
i do feel like it couldve gone into more though, i really wanted the book to go into the exodus of ex armys after butter dropped, i wanted it to cover the accusations of selling out, i wanted it to cover stuff we didnt even know about. At the end of the day, it does have heart and i really do feel like the book conveyed their hardships well but they clearly couldnt delve into more stuff due to hybe and whatnot.
A solid read but I can see why people may not be a fan of it

It was pretty good! It's nice to have a compact history of bts from them rather than have to find it from twitter and word of mouth.
I listened to the audiobook and the narrator does a nice job , specially when reading the members interview parts.
Interviews were my favorite part of the book. It's always nice to hear bts' thoughts directly from them. I appreciated their usual straightforwardness.
it was vulnerable and honest without opening up all their personal lives and details, which is very much how bts are.
Though everytime a song lyric was introduced to reference something I kept thinking other part of that song would've been better but that's my personal view on it. I will be annotatiing the book once I get it, hopefully!!

Ultimately I only read the text where BTS themselves were talking/interviewed. From the very beginning of the book you can tell HYBE has an agenda. Literally trying to rewrite their history as a company and downplay the boys experiences, so I couldn’t continue.
